Ingredients

Water: 0.25 gal(US)

Acid (Teaspoon): 1 Unit

Peptic Enzyme (Teaspoon): 1 Unit

Nutrient (Teaspoon): 1 Unit

Campden Tablets: 1 Unit

Sugar: 1.75 lb

Apple Juice: 0.5 gal(US)

Grape Juice: 0.25 gal(US)

Steps

Boil the water, add the all of the ingredients except for yeast.

When water gets to room temperature, sprinkle Red Star Montrachet yeast on top.

When the SG hits 1.030 or less, transfer to glass.

Ferment to dryness.

Stabilize and sweeten to taste.

When using self-extracted juice, add some peptic enzyme or it may be hazy.

When crystal clear, it is ready to be bottled.

This wine is really cheap and easy to make. It takes about 3 months from start to finish (bottling). Clears very well on its own.
